Dear Members of the Notre Dame Community,
Thank you for your steadfast commitment to the health and well-being of all members of our community. Your leadership, flexibility and care for others during these ever-changing times is exemplary. For that and for all you are doing, I am deeply grateful.
Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb recently announced steps to minimize the spread of the coronavirus, including additional restrictions to events, schools, restaurants, etc. Many of these restrictions have an immediate impact on the following University operations:
- Various campus services have been adjusted and several facilities now have modified hours. Please find more information here.
- Campus Dining outlets, including North Dining Hall and Rohr’s Test Kitchen at the Morris Inn, will provide food via carryout services only.
- Effective immediately, faculty and staff members who need to work on campus may park in any faculty/staff parking lots (A and B lots), with no time restrictions. Any ADA, specific time-limited and reserved parking spaces will continue to be enforced as normal.
- Our top priority remains the physical and mental health of the Notre Dame community. The Wellness Center will continue to provide regular services, but with adjusted hours, while the pharmacy will be accessible via drive-thru only.
I understand this health crisis is causing a significant amount of disruption for all of us. If you are experiencing feelings of stress or anxiety, please contact LifeWorks, the University’s Employee Assistance Program, or call our on-site wellness coaches at 574-631-2366.
Thank you for all you are doing under these extraordinary circumstances. I encourage you to check coronavirus.nd.edu regularly, as we will continue to update it with current and emerging information.
As we navigate the coming days, please know that my prayers are with each of you and your families, and that your commitment to Our Lady's University is an inspiration to us all.
In Notre Dame,
Executive Vice President
